Vaughan Fire Services was called to the scene of a plaza fire on Centre Street just after 5 a.m. on Friday morning.

A passerby called 9-1-1 at 5:12 a.m. April 20 reporting fire shooting from the roof of the mall located at 1054 Centre St.

She said, “the bulk of the damage is on/over the First Choice Haircutters business.  There will be impact to some of the businesses today as damage may prevent some from opening.”
