Firefighters respond to vehicle fire at Vaughan home

Firefighters put out a vehicle fire at a Vaughan home Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service responded to a house on Chipmunk Trail, off Vellore Woods Boulevard, at 3 p.m. after receiving a call about a vehicle that was on fire.

The vehicle was parked in the driveway facing the front of another parked vehicle - increasing the risk the fire would spread to the other car.

Thick smoke rose above the home as firefighters fought the flames.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the blaze.
