Kleinburg subdivisions proposed

At its November 7 meeting, Vaughan committee of the whole considered a preliminary report regarding zoning by-law amendment and draft plan of subdivision applications by Nashville (Barons) Developments. Nashville proposes to develop 251 detached dwelling units, a mid-rise mixed-use block, and blocks for parks and open space at 10671 Huntington Road.

Another preliminary report to be considered at the meeting addresses Nashville's proposed zoning by-law amendment and draft plan of subdivision for an adjacent site at 737 and 739 Nashville Road. On this site, Nashville proposes to build 29 detached dwelling units and 37 townhouses, as well as blocks for parks and open space. Both reports recommend that public comments on the applications be received, and final reports be prepared.
