In 30 days, the TTC's Toronto-York Spadina subway extension will make its debut.
On Friday, transportation minister Steven Del Duca, Mayor John Tory and other officials were given a tour of the brand new Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Downsview Park stations.
As of Dec. 17, it will mean subway service beyond regional boundaries in the province for the first time ever.
The extension is an expansion of Line 1 and includes six new subway stations - Downsview Park, Finch West, York University, Pioneer Village, Highway 407 and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
Part of the expansion includes added commuter parking lots at York Region, GO Transit and TTC terminals.
