In honour of its generous donors, the Mackenzie Health Foundation hosted its annual donor appreciation event last month at the McMichael Art Gallery. Close to 80 to 100 guests—including the President and CEO of Mackenzie Health Altaf Stationwala, and the President and CEO of Mackenzie Health Foundation Ingrid Perry—were in attendance to enjoy what turned out to be another extraordinary event.

This year, the theme of the night highlighted Mackenzie Health Foundation’s 40th year of community legacy and philanthropy. And, as everyone celebrated the Foundation’s longstanding contribution to the community, they also received words of gratitude for their own contributions to the Foundation. Greg Sorbora, co-chair of the Exceptional Care Belongs Here campaign cabinet, addressed the crowd and thanked them for their ongoing support to the Foundation. He also mentioned key updates on the campaign and on the construction of Mackenzie Health Hospital. While those in attendance were thanked for their contributions, they were also treated to refreshments, fully catered treats and special private tours within the McMichael Art Gallery.

Since the Foundation’s inception in 1977, it has raised more than $125 million, all thanks to its generous and supportive contributors. To learn more about the Foundation, please visit: www.mackenziehealth.ca/en/get-involved/foundation.aspx
