We want to take the guesswork out of Thanksgiving Monday. Here’s our breakdown of what’s open and closed Oct. 9:

Aurora

The seniors’ centre will be closed Oct. 7 to 9.

Aurora Family Leisure Complex

Service desk and fitness: 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. (modified schedule and hours); Pool: No aquafit classes, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is lane swim.

Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex

Service desk: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., pool: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. lane swim, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. leisure swim; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. public skate. (http://www.aurora.ca/thanksgivingweekend for more information.)

Bradford West Gwillimbury

All town offices will be closed, and BWG Transit will not be running.

The library will be closed Monday.

East Gwillimbury

The Civic Centre, libraries and community centres will be closed Oct. 9. (http://www.eastgwillimbury.ca for more information.)

Georgina

The following will be closed Monday: The Town of Georgina Civic Centre, Georgina Leisure Pool, Georgina Ice Palace/Georgina Gym, Georgina Animal Shelter and Adoption Centre, Georgina Public Library (Keswick, Sutton, Pefferlaw) Georgina Pioneer Village & Archives, Sutton Arena, Stephen Leacock Theatre/Club 55, the Link (Sutton) and the ROC. King

King Township offices and libraries will be closed for Thanksgiving Day. (http://www.king.ca/ for more information.)

Markham

Markham Civic Centre will be closed.

Thornhill Community Centre: Table tennis 8 a.m.— 12 p.m. and duplicate bridge 1-4 p.m.

Fitness Centres: Centennial, Cornell, Thornhill open 8 a.m. — 4 p.m., Pan Am closed.

Pools:  Angus Glen: Lane swim and parent and tot swim: 1 — 2 p.m. Rec swim: 2—4 p.m.

            Cornell Pool: Lane swim and parent and tot: 10 a.m. — 11:30 a.m. and rec swim: 12 — 2 p.m.

            Thornhill Pool: Parent and tot swim: 10 a.m. — 11:30 a.m. Therapy swim: 11:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.

Newmarket

All Newmarket buildings are closed, including: municipal offices,

Magna Centre and Fitness Centre, Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, Seniors' Meeting Place,

Richmond Hill

All library branches will be closed Monday, as will the town offices. Richmond Hill's municipal offices and the operations centre will be closed on Monday with limited services for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Vaughan

Vaughan municipal offices, including Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre, will be closed for Thanksgiving. Vaughan Animal Services and community centres will be closed. Vaughan Public Libraries will be closed. (https://www.vaughan.ca/ for more information).

Whitchurch-Stouffville

The municipal offices will be closed Monday, as will Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library.

The Leisure Centre (fitness centre — 7:30 a.m. to noon. Group fitness — 9:25 to 10:20 a.m.).

Museum & Community Centre, 19 on the Park, Clippers Sports Complex and Soccer City will be closed.
