In another epic feat of Concerts in the Park vs. rainy weather, Concerts were victorious yet again!

August 2nd marked the last Concert in the Park of the summer, to everyone’s dismay, at York Hill District Park, 501 Clark Avenue West. However, the band Soular brought the soul beat to keep the crowd on their feet the whole night, dancing to hits like “ABC” by the Jackson 5, “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, “My Girl” by The Temptations and even “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift! The vocals were on point and Soular even busted out some impressive dance moves to keep up with the crowd that gathered near stage to “dance...jump on it!”

Along with the creamy goodness of free ice cream, this finale event also offered delicious, buttery corn and fresh, juicy watermelon! These Concerts in the Park have been an amazing way for the community to get outside and enjoy Vaughan’s parks while having a great time listening to some superb bands and, of course, dancing along! Until next summer!
