Since 1977, the not-for-profit organization recognized as the Vaughan Chambers of Commerce (VCC) has been committed to “connecting, serving and empowering the Vaughan business community both as a catalyst and resource,” as mentioned on its website. And since its establishment, VCC continues to be a vital part of the business community, especially as it helps businesses and current members gain the resources they need to thrive in their business, via educational seminars, networking events and so much more.

And, as a way to continue their mission and commitment from 1977, the VCC organization recently organized their highly anticipated Member Appreciation BBQ Bash - at Dave & Buster's Outdoor Patio - to further connect the business community and celebrate the organization’s 40th anniversary and its members, as well as Canada’s 150th milestone birthday! Even though it rained in the morning, the weather cleared up right before the event started - signalling the start to a fantastic event! Local vendors, members of the organization, local dignitaries & influencers and guests came together to enjoy a moment of networking, entertainment and relationship building. While all gathered in the outdoor tents to enjoy the barbeque sausages, hamburgers and additional delicious sides and desserts, everyone was kept entertained with live music from Arcadia Academy of Music and later an Elvis impersonator that brought to the stage the classic moves and smooth vocals the original used to bring.

Like last year, this year’s Bash was another raving success and managed to yet again fulfill the organization’s mission. To learn more about VCC, please visit: vaughanchamber.ca/
