2. What does CANADA MEAN TO YOU? Children are invited to produce and film a movie about Canada at the Bathurst Clark Resource Library Aug. 4.

3. Share a meal during DINNER WITH CANADA, a pop-up dinner theatre party starring civil rights pioneer Viola Desmond at Old Town Hall in Newmarket.

4. Spend SIMCOE DAY on Main Street Unionville, with live music, entertainment and horse-drawn wagon rides.

5. Shop fresh, local produce at one of many FARMERS MARKETS across York Region.
