At the age of 18 and attending the Schulich School of Business in the fall, Elad Breitner noticed that many people wanted to personalize their own shirts, show off their own styles and create lasting memories, but lacked a way of doing so.

“I wanted a shirt that acted as a canvas, one that I can draw on and decorate to the limit of my imagination. So, I put my thinking cap on!” exclaimed Elad.

After days of searching, the graduated Thornhill Secondary student discovered Summer Company - a program by the Vaughan Business Enterprise Centre to support youths with startups.

“I was thrilled to be a Summer Company entrepreneur because it meant that I can make my own innovative clothing brand called BREIT out of my parents’ basement,” laughed Elad.

The shirts feature engaging statements such as: Born to 🐝, My Hero Is etc. They also come with fabric markers that let you finish off the sentence and unleash your creativity.

This new startup is donating 5 per cent of all profits going back into the community of Vaughan.

These shirts are an awesome activity for birthdays, family nights or even as a gift. Be sure to check out BREIT at breitshirts.com.
