Former Magna Hoedown Showdown winner and Kleinberg's very own Gabriella Wilder will be a featured performer at this year's Woodbridge Ribfest.

The country music chanteuse will be taking the rifest stage at Woodbridge Fairgrounds with her band on Friday, Aug. 11 at 8 p.m.

Wilder, who has performed with country stars Tim Hicks and Beverly Mahood, looks toward Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline for inspiration.

Woodbridge Ribfest, which also features midway rides and games and, of course, the chance to sample the offerings of five top ribbers, takes place Friday, Aug. 11 from 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 12 from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.

The fairgrounds are on Kipling Avenue north of Hwy. 7. Visitors are told that no dogs are allowed. Ribfest is a fundraising event to raise support for Rotary’s local and international projects.
