The La Rocca Memorial Society Bursary Recipients' Dinner and Networking Event was hosted by Castello Restorante, at 3600 Langstaff Road on July 4th from 7pm-9pm. The La Rocca Memorial Society is a non-profit organization managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, all of whom are past La Rocca Bursary recipients. Through the La Rocca Bursary program, they were pleased to recognize the outstanding City of Vaughan youth who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to community enrichment, the well-being of others and the promotion of quality of life. The Board of Directors were happy to celebrate alongside the 2017 bursary recipients, their guests and alumni at this exclusive dinner and networking event sponsored by the Guglietti family of Rosehaven Homes. In addition to rewarding the students for their outstanding contributions to the community, this event allowed the recipients to learn of new ways to stay involved and continue to give back. This wonderful event gave these phenomenal youth a platform to share what they have done and what their goals are for the future.
