The City of Vaughan celebrated National Public Works Week from May 21st to 27th. In recognition of this week and this year's theme of "Public Works Connects Us," they hosted their annual Public Works Day Event showcasing the essential services public works professionals provide. This year's annual event took place on May 27th, 2017. This family event featured fun and interactive activities such as a Photo Booth, Face Painting, Kids Bike Rodeo, Pipes and Running Water life-size board game, Waste Diversion basketball game and also the opportunity for everyone to jump in and touch the various vehicles on display. There was lots of laughter, excitement and good times as everyone left with a smile!
