On June 14th, for 20 minutes, 29 riders helped power one big bike—a massive red bike that attracted great attention from those watching nearby. While riders—which consisted of employees from the City of Vaughan—pedaled for a great cause, they were also accompanied by drivers and charitable enthusiasts. As they pedaled through the community, they celebrated their accomplishments and stopped traffic to raise awareness on critical heart disease and stroke research.
The event is dedicated to supporting Heart & Stroke and “help ensure that critical research in hospitals and universities across Canada can continue,” as mentioned on the event’s website.
