Maple GO Station Improvements
The panel will undertake its first review of AECOM’s design concept for the redevelopment of Metrolinx’s
Maple GO station, located near Major Mackenzie Drive and McNaughton Road.

The proposal includes rail platform improvements, new rail, an above-grade parking structure, improved bus loop, new plaza, and public realm improvements. The vision is to bring together the unique elements of the station with the surrounding community while preserving the site’s historic significance.

The landscape design aims to provide a high-quality public realm and to create a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment for visitors to the station. Presentations will be made by Vaughan senior urban designer Moira Wilson, as well as AECOM architect Laurence Cudip and landscape architect and urban designer Shalini Ullal.
