Italian Day, Craft Market cooks up wonderful tastes

It was Italian Day and Craft Market at the Woodbridge Pool and Memorial Arena last Saturday at Islington Avenue and Highway. 7.

The Catholic Women's League volunteer members of St. Margaret Mary Church demonstrated how to make pizzelle, crostoli and pasta at the community booth.

Many people were able to taste and/or take home some of the wonderful results to enjoy.

All proceeds from the sales of the goods went to various charities. Live music was provided by a musician on an accordion. The popular kids' club continued with activities for children and there were local artisans at the craft market. Everybody who attended had a wonderful time at the event.
