More than 300 people turned up on May 24 at the Maple Community Centre, including Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and King Township Mayor Steve Pellegrini, to celebrate with King-Vaughan MP Deb Schulte.

Her Private Members’ Motion, declaring June National Italian Heritage Month, was approved on May 17.
