TDSS & Vaughan Fire Rescue Public Service Announcement Reveal

On May 1st Tommy Douglas’ Grade 12 Drama students celebrated the reveal of the public service announcement created in partnership with Vaughan Fire and Rescue at TDSS Titan Theatre.

The impetus for this project began as a response by Vaughan Fire Rescue to a recommendation from a Coroner’s Inquest in Durham to increase the promotion of fire safety education among young people. The inquest was convened as a result of the death of three young people due to a house fire.
