MP Deb Schulte Celebrates National Italian Heritage Month

MP Deb Schulte invited residents of King Township and Vaughan on May 24th to celebrate her motion declaring the month of June as National Italian Heritage Month in Canada. This was an opportunity for the community to come together in celebration and commemoration of the Italian culture and pride. The event featured refreshments, entertainment, activities and special guests appealing to all ages. The celebration took place at Maple Community Centre Arena and featured special guests including: Maurizio Bevilacqua, Mayor City of Vaughan, Marilyn Iafrate, Councillor City of Vaughan, Gino Rosati, Regional Councillor City of Vaughan, Mario Ferri, Regional Councillor City of Vaughan and Francesco Sorbara, MP of Vaughan-Woodbridge. This was a wonderful event to kick off National Italian Heritage Month in Canada!
