Vaughan Metropolitan Centre towers proposed

At its May 2 meeting, Vaughan committee of the whole considered a preliminary report regarding zoning bylaw amendment applications by VMC Residences GP and Penguin-Calloway (Vaughan). VMC and Penguin-Calloway proposes to build two 55-storey residential apartment buildings with 1,210 units, seven townhouses, and a restaurant, at the south side of Portage Parkway, west of Millway Avenue. The development would be facilitated by the transfer of unused density from two donor sites. The report recommends that the applications continue to be processed, and a final report be prepared.
