The provincial government is developing a four-year, $47-million action plan aimed at helping to reduce disparities for black children, youth and families - and it wants to hear from you.

To that end, The Ministry of Children and Youth Services is hosting a community engagement session to discuss Ontario's Black Youth Action Plan in Vaughan on Saturday, May 13.

The session takes place from 10 a.m. until noon, with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. at Chancellor Community Centre, 350 Ansley Grove Rd. in Woodbridge.

Ministry officials are particularly keen to hear from young people under 25.

Youth are strongly encouraged to attend and share their thoughts.

You can register in advance for the engagement session at www.byapvaughan.eventbrite.com.
