If you only have a few hours to spend in each community, make art and culture your number 1 stop.
In King Township, visit the King Heritage and Cultural Centre, located at 2920 King Rd., King City.
The centre features two large gallery rooms and a rustic school room, built in the 1860s.
The Heritage and Cultural Centre is home to the annual Robbie Burns Scotch tasting event.
From May to July, the centre will host the Canada on a Plate exhibit celebrating images of Canadian history painted on Wedgwood china.
During the summer months, the centre will host A Little Bit of Everything exhibit and summer camp workshops featuring local artists Eva Folks and Judy Sherman.
In the fall, learn more about local participation, life and sacrifice of the First World War.
At the end of the year, the centre will host trees of giving together with the Portraits of Giving exhibit in support of the King Township Food Bank.
