Vaughan's Glenn Gould Public School fundraiser features NASCAR's Dave Connelly

Glenn Gould Public School is revving up for a fundraising barbecue featuring a special guest appearance by NASCAR driver Dave Connelly.

The event takes place Friday, May 5 at Fortinos, 2911 Major Mackenzie Dr., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The fundraiser will feature animal balloons, face painting, a clown, games, cotton candy, popcorn, henna tattoos for kids, an ice cream truck and, of course, barbecued treats.

Connelly, a veteran racer and host of Fortinos’ Fuel For Kids fundraising program, will be on hand with his car.

A hundred per cent of the proceeds from the event will go to support Glenn Gould Public School.
