As the Town of Innisfil sets out to offer $3-5 Uber trips to main destinations in the town, Uber is upping the ante.
The company is offering a $100 bonus to any Innisfil resident who registers as a driver and completes 10 trips in town.
Uber drivers typically use their own car as they shuttle people around the area.
In order to drive with Uber, a vehicle can’t be more than 10 years old and it must have proof of a motor vehicle safety inspection. Each vehicle and driver must hold $2 million in liability insurance.
The expected date for Uber to be used by the town for transit is May 1.
