One of the most significant contributions to the City of Vaughan’s growth and evolution is the rise in local businesses that continue to give back to the community. Local businesses, like Luna & Co. - the newest business to recently open - understand this and strive to become a positive impact within the community. “Supporting the community and local business is something that is taken very seriously by Luna & Co.,” says Michael Dilena, the owner of Vaughan's newest fine jewelry store.

Luna & Co. - which is nestled in the plaza across from Vaughan Mills at 9100 Jane St., Unit 28 - is one of Vaughan’s newest fine jewelry stores that focuses heavily on custom design. It recently officially celebrated its grand opening on February 25th, 2017.

During the celebratory grand opening ceremony, guests, including Michael and his fiancee’s (Sirah) family, poured into Luna & Co. to congratulate the two on their newest milestone and to celebrate their mission to becoming a bold and positive contributor to the community. After Michael made a heart-warming speech to thank those in attendance, the dignitaries who made a special appearance - including Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, Ward 4 Councillor Sandra Yeung Racco, Regional Councillor Gino Rosati and Deputy Mayor of Toronto Vincent Crisanti - presented Michael with the Official Grand Opening certificate and some words of wisdom. Guests later enjoyed exquisite treats by Spataro & Cake Pop Goddess.
