UPDATE: Vaughan Hwy. 7 eastbound lanes open at Keele after watermain break repaired

Those drivers wanting to drive east on Hwy. 7 past Keele Street can do so once again after two days of repairs.

The eastbound lanes on Hwy. 7 at Keele Street to Hillside Avenue that closed Friday morning for a watermain break are now again open after a few days of repairs. They opened late Saturday night.

Both eastbound and westbound rapidway lanes are open for transit vehicles.

The area has been the scene of major traffic construction over the past few years as the Viva Rapidway bus line has been extended along Hwy. 7.
