The City of Vaughan celebrated its 28th annual Vaughan Winterfest event presented by TD and event sponsors CN and Tim Hortons on Feb. 12th, at Vellore Village Community Centre. Free family fun entertainment and activities included outdoor stage shows by the Octonauts, Glisse on Ice, Doo Doo the International Clown, The Magic of Aaron Matthews and Bounce Entertainment. Residents and visitors enjoyed character meet & greets with Paw Patrol and Octonauts, an Official Welcome by Mayor and Members of Council, as well as midway rides and inflatables, facepainting, arts & crafts, photo booth, horse-drawn wagon rides, maple taffy station, pancake breakfast in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary, interactive ice sculpture and so much more!

Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest was also the City's launch of Canada150 programming.
