The 6th annual Giuliano’s Journey Dinner and Dance took place at the Venetian Banquet Hall on Feb. 17th, from 6 pm to 1am. All proceeds will benefit the Haematology/Oncology Unit at SickKids. There was an antipasto bar followed by a 5 course meal with an open bar. Many bakeries have donated to the nightly sweet table. There was entertainment, a DJ, raffles and prizes to be won. Giuliano is the Founder of his own Foundation at SickKids called "Giuliano's Journey", which was registered June 2011 when he was 10-years-old. Today, at 16-years-old he continues to help the children at SickKids. He is hoping for a cure one day that he says is taking too long. Giuliano experienced the intense chemotherapy treatment for 3 1/2 years and he wants no child to endure the pain and suffering he went through and their family. This was about a young man's mission of hope and his gallant fight against a life threatening disease.
