Approval recommended for Vaughan secondary suites OPA

At its February 7 meeting, Vaughan committee of the whole considered a final report recommending approval of city-initiated official plan and zoning by-law amendments. The amendments will introduce secondary suites as a permitted use in the city. The report also recommends council approve a community-based Secondary Suites Implementation Strategy that focuses on administration, compliance and enforcement, and public education to support a secondary suites program.
