Vaughan’s deputy fire Chief Deryn Rizzi has landed a prestigious posting.

The veteran firefighter has been appointed as an aide-de-camp to Ontario Lt.-Gov. Elizabeth Dowdeswell.

The lieutenant-governor attends hundreds of events every year and an aide-de-camp accompanies her at all official occasions and engagements.
