Do you know a person who goes to great lengths to conserve energy or who is a champion for the 3Rs - reduce, reuse, recycle? If so, the Earth Hour Vaughan committee wants to hear from you.

The committee is gearing up for its 10th annual Energy Exhibit and Lantern Walk and is looking for green heroes in Vaughan to honour at the Saturday, March 25 event.

If the person is willing to be recognized, you can nominate them by contacting Kailyn Smith at kailyn.smith@vaughan.ca. You are asked to describe in detail their green way of living.

The annual Earth Hour event, which takes place at city hall from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., features an exhibit of energy saving technology, a lantern walk, refreshments, entertainment, green hero awards, school banner awards and prizes.
