Assante partners with the McMichael in celebration of Canadian art

Assante Wealth Management, along with 10 Assante advisory practices, have announced a one-year partnership with the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. The partnership includes sponsorship of various events that will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the 150th anniversary of Confederation and more.

Notably, Assante will be the single presenting sponsor of the 2017 Moonlight Gala and the lead partner for Canada's 150th anniversary celebration at the gallery as well as the Higher States: Lawren Harris and his American Contemporaries exhibit.

As part of the partnership, 10 Assante wealth advisors are proud to represent the Assante Group of Seven named after iconic Canadian painters the Group of Seven, which eventually included 10 members.

In addition to touring exhibitions, its permanent collection consists of over 6,000 artworks by Canadian artists, including paintings by the Group of Seven and their contemporaries, as well as First Nations, Metis and Inuit artists. The gallery is located on 100 acres of northern landscape and hiking trails in Kleinburg, Ontario.
