The Gupta Group has announced it will soon launch ICONA Condominiums, which at 53 storeys, will be Vaughan's tallest tower.
Marking the beginning of the high-rise condominium market in one of Ontario's fastest-growing areas, ICONA will ultimately consist of two condominium towers, 51-and 53-storeys each, which will house approximately 1,140 units and include 20,000 sq. ft. of retail at the base.
Located east of Hwy 400 on Hwy 7, the two-tower development will become a commanding presence in the heart of downtown Vaughan, which is rapidly evolving with shops, restaurants and retail, including the addition of the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC). ICONA Condominiums will also be accessible to major highways and just steps to the future Vaughan Metropolitan Subway Station, expected to be operational in December 2017, connecting this region to downtown Toronto.
"We are well aware of the incredible potential of this region as our Hotel Development company, The Easton's Group of Hotels, owns three successful hotels in Vaughan," said Steve Gupta, Chairman & CEO of The Gupta Group and President & CEO of the Easton's Group of Hotels. "The size of this project will make it an instant icon in Vaughan and we are proud to be able to contribute to the already phenomenal growth of this area."
The Gupta Group has brought together an award-winning team for ICONA Condominiums, with architectural design by Page+Steele/IBI Group, and interior design by Studio Munge. To register for updates on ICONA Condominiums, visit www.theicona.com.
