The Design Review Panel will consider the following items at its meeting Thursday, September 29 at 9:00 a.m. in committee room 244, city hall.

PRESENTATIONS

2916 and 2908 Highway 7 - Panel will undertake its first review of the second phase of Cortel Group’s Expo City. The proposed mixed-use development is located at 2916 and 2908 Highway 7 in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. The proposal incorporates two 39-storey high-rise buildings framing an internal private street and future city park. Presentations will be made by City of Vaughan urban designer Shahrzad Davoudi-Strike and AJ Tregebov Architect principal Alan Tregebov.

1176 Rutherford Road - Panel will undertake its third review of Norstar Group of Companies proposal for a mixed-use residential development at 1176 Rutherford Road (Carrville District Centre). The 39,188m² proposal includes a combination of stacked and back-to-back townhouses and a 24-storey high-rise building. Presentations will be made by City of Vaughan urban designer Shahrzad Davoudi-Strike and Turner Fleischer Architects partner Russell Fleischer.
