August 2016

The Muslim Festival of Vaughan (MFV) is a unique annual Festival of its kind in Vaughan, which focuses on celebrating the arts, cultural and heritage assets of Muslim Canadians. This festival started in 2014 and in their third year, they headed outdoors to increase their lineup of summer entertainment and family engagement.

The festival brought the community together to witness the richness of arts, culture and entertainment. This is a young group of dedicated Muslim Canadians, excited to meet their neighbors to share laughter, summer fun and to engage the entire family at a street festival focused on building bridges. The event took place at the Vellore Woods Heritage Area on 9541 Weston Road. Everyone joined in on a great day and had shared plenty of great moments.
