The Woodbridge Toastmasters Gavel Gala

On June 29th over 100 members, family and friends gathered as the Woodbridge Toastmasters Club held its annual Gavel Gala at Dave & Buster’s! The main purpose of the event was to hand over the gavel from the out-going executive committee to the new executive committee and to present awards for the outstanding Toastmaster members.

The Woodbridge Toastmasters were extremely honoured to have Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua as the key note speaker, who really showed the members and guests the mastery of public speaking! The evening also included entertainment from a Mexican dance group, raffle prizes, a silent auction and of course food & beverages! Also, congratulations to Brett Mitsubata for being named the new president of the Woodbridge Toastmasters Club!
