GO Transit dials up free Wi-Fi to York Region commuters

Starting Friday, you can stay informed, be entertained and be more productive while commuting on GO Transit.

Customers using GO stations and bus terminals across York Region now have greater access to free Wi-Fi.

“We’ve brought free Wi-Fi to our GO stations and bus terminals to make our customers’ commutes more convenient. Improvements like this make it easier for people across the region to choose transit first,” Metrolinx president Bruce McCuaig said in a statement.

You can use the free Wi-Fi to get information about GO services through tools such as Triplinx, the mobile GO website and trip planner, GO Tracker and On the GO Alerts.

To access the service, customers can select the free network name starting with “Free WiFi at GO” from the list of available network connections on their electronic device.
