The Design Review Panel will consider the following items at its meeting Thursday, August 25 at 9:00 a.m. in committee room 243, Vaughan City Hall.

7700 Bathurst Street - The panel will undertake its first review of 1529749 Ontario’s proposal for a mixed-use development at 7700 Bathurst Street, at Centre Street. The 154,440m2 proposal incorporates seven 27-storey high-rise mixed-use buildings with two two-storey retail/commercial buildings and a three-storey parking structure served by an internal private road. Presentations will be made by City of Vaughan urban designer Shahrzad Davoudi-Strike, senior planner Christina Napoli and Quadrangle Architects principal and co-founder Les Klein.

10:55 a.m.
259, 275 Woodbridge Avenue and 64 Abell Avenue - The panel will undertake its second review of Housing York/York Region’s proposal for a 13,867 m2 mixed-use, affordable housing development. The proposal includes a six-storey residential building with at-grade retail along Woodbridge Avenue. Presentations will be made by City of Vaughan urban designer Marco Jacob, planner Kathryn Moore and Kirkor Architects founding partner Clifford Korman.
