Vaughan non-profit group nets fire safety grant from province

The province is providing funds to spark fire safety improvements at a Vaughan non-profit agency.
Reena, which provides services to people with developmental disabilities, netted about $366,400 in 2016-17.
The money is part of a $6.5-million program designed to bolster fire safety in more than 130 facilities run by 40 community service agencies across Ontario through
Projects include fire alarm system upgrades, installation of fire doors and separations as well as sprinkler system installations.
The most recent spending brings the total funding to improve fire safety in developmental and community service agency facilities to more than $15 million since 2014-15.
