Dog owners in west Vaughan have been barking about needing a second off-leash park for years and it seems the city is now planning to build one.
Officials are seeking input from residents about where on the west side of Hwy. 400 it should be located and what it should feature, among other things, through an online survey, which runs until Sept. 11.
A public open house to solicit comments is also planned for Sept. 20 at Chancellor Community Centre, 350 Ansley Grove Rd., starting at 7 p.m.
Vaughan’s first off-leash dog park opened in the Concord Thornhill Regional Park in 2009.
