On May 30th at the Hero Burgers location on Jane and Major Mackenzie Drive five talented artists had their artwork at the site as they were presented with Youth Arts Week Certificates of acknowledgement. The five artists were: Isabella Scarcella, Tyler-James Sakun, Amanda Frasca, Samantha Pasut, and Luca Campacci. Hero Burgers president, John Lettieri awared $500 to the Honorarium to the Art Hero Text vote winner as both Samantha Pasut and Isabella Scarcella were crowned the 2016 Vaughan Art Heroes. Congratulation to both ladies on their incredible artwork. The event ran from 5pm-6:30pm and Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua with members of council were present. From the wonderful complimentary Hero Burger food sliders, to the presentation ceremony, to announcing the winners - this event had it all and all of these artists should be proud of their incredible work being on display. A special thanks goes out to Hero Burgers for hosting this event.
