Vaughan Muslim Festival Comes to Maple

It's billed as an opportunity 'to know each other better'.

Organizers of the third annual Muslim Festival of Vaughan aimed to open the doors on Saturday to  their culture and celebrate diversity through art, fashion, great food, displays, music and more.

The event is hosted by the Canadian Association of Multicultural People (Camp), a group of energetic young people who secured the support of the City of Vaughan for their event.

Many braved the scorching temperatures to enjoy and afternoon of cultural sharing and community spirit.
