Cows on the loose in York Region
Two cows were seen wandering in the area of Hwy. 9 east of Hwy. 27 in Schomberg.

Police are warning motorists in Schomberg to be on the lookout for wandering cows.

York Regional Police officers received a report around 8:10 a.m. that two cows had got out of a farm near Hwy. 9 east of Hwy. 27.

Just a few days ago, 10 to 12 other cows escaped from farm in Vaughan, said Const Andy Pattenden.

“It’s not uncommon to see cows on the loose in York Region” he said.
