York Region to receive housing funding

July 14 York Region announced it is receiving $23-million in provincial and federal funding to build, renovate and provide critical housing options throughout the region. Of this money $5.1-million will be allocated to maintenance and capital repairs to non-profit and co-operative housing communities and $17.9-million will be spent to increase the region’s affordable housing supply.
