Premier visiting subway extension in Vaughan Monday morning

Premier Kathleen Wynne is in Vaughan this morning to mark the completion of the track installation for the Spadina subway extension into York Region.
Wynne is visiting the future Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station, along with Transportation Minister and Vaughan MPP Steven Del Duca, York Region chair Wayne Emmerson and other officials.
The six-station subway extension is scheduled to open in December 2017.
It is projected to cost $3.2 billion, up from the original forecast of $2.6 billion.
