Premier In Vaughan To Make Subway Extension Announcement

The progress of the Yonge-Spadina subway extension will be updated Monday morning.

Premier Kathleen Wynne, along with Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca and Josh Colle, the Chair of the TTC will make an announcement at the future site of the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station.

The extension adds half a dozen new stations along the 8.6 kilomter route between Toronto and York Region, with an anticipated opening of late 2017.
