The Opening Of Lawford Park

Parks add life to a neighbourhood and are places for people to go to have fun, relax or be active. That's why the City of Vaughan is committed to bettering the community by providing greenspaces for everyone to enjoy. As part of this, Lawford Park has recently opened for residents and visitors to take pleasure in everything it has to offer. This includes accessible junior and senior playgrounds, a soccer field, shade structure, accessible walking paths, seating areas and landscape planting. Lawford Park is at 300 Lawford Rd., north of Major Mackenzie Drive, west of Weston Road.
