Local Author Showcase At VPL

The Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) invited all book lovers to meet award-winning local authors including Suri Rosen and Deborah Kerbel at VPL’s first ever Local Author Showcase on May 15th from 1 - 4 p.m. at Bathurst Clark Resource Library. Guests had the chance to meet adult, teen and children authors from all over Vaughan. They also enjoyed an author talk from each author, book displays and a chance to purchase the latest books from their favourite author. A great amount of talented authors joined forces for this wonderful event, including Adriano Biasini who was showcasing his book “Conspiracy to Murder.” Regional Councillor Mario Ferri was in attendance to acknowledge all of the great books. This was a great opportunity put together by VPL to give local talent a chance to shine.
