Vaughan Hires New City Manager Daniel Kostopoulos

After a thorough recruitment process, the City of Vaughan is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Kostopoulos as City Manager, effective June 27, 2016.

Mr. Kostopoulos brings a wealth of municipal and leadership experience to the City of Vaughan, including most recently serving as the Commissioner of Transportation Services for the Regional Municipality of York (York Region).

In this role, he was responsible for delivering important transportation projects, which included working with Vaughan to improve the municipal road network. He has also played a pivotal role in the development of most of York Region's growth-related policies throughout the past 10 years, and understands the needs of this growing community.
