Vaughan supplying animal control to King Township

For at least the next three years the people of King Township will be relying on the City of Vaughan for animal control services.

King Township Council made it official Monday night, signing on to a new deal for $200,000 per year, with annual two per cent increases. There are also two one-year renewal provisions on top of the three-year deal.

The City of Vaughan Animal Services Division provides a number of key elements in the contract to King including:

The Township has a current agreement with Vaughan that expires April 30. The new deal takes effect from that point forward.
